Safety

Safe plans, honest judgement and suitable objectives.

Outdoor plans are shaped around group needs, conditions, equipment and appropriate levels of challenge.

Activity suitability

Every activity is screened before confirming the plan. Families, beginners and experienced walkers need different levels of support, and the objective must match the group.

  • Children must be accompanied by their legal guardians at all times.
  • Routes may change if the weather, ground conditions or group needs require it.
  • More exposed scrambling objectives require careful screening and suitable conditions.
  • Medical, access and safeguarding considerations should be shared during enquiry.
