The ethos

Cynefin means connection to place. The goal is to help visitors experience North Wales with curiosity, confidence and respect, not just tick off a summit or activity.

The approach is calm, educational and flexible. Days are shaped by conditions, group ability, the story of the landscape and the kind of experience the group wants to have.

Qualifications and experience

Outdoor qualifications

Mountain Leader, Rock Climbing Instructor and Outdoor First Aid.

Education and youth work

Qualified teacher, DBS, school group experience, DofE training and assessment experience.

Local knowledge

Grew up in North Wales, knows the local mountain areas well and speaks some Welsh.
